Website Delivery & Support Ops Lead

Role intially 100% remote with requirement to travel to office near Basingstoke 1-2 days a week once restrictions are lifted

Job Description

This role will be part of the Digital IT team and will lead the business as usual website demand & delivery efforts in coordination with various IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate effective ,transparent and consistent capturing of business as usual website demands and ensuring early alignment with solution engineers, architect, analytics team, SEO expert and delivery partners
  • Manage prioritising of website delivery demands and support backlog aligned with business/IT priorities
  • Coordinate delivery of business as usual demand, which are mostly around static or non-standard websites, but might also include apps
  • Steer website and app support activities provided by Managed service provider (which also includes performance monitoring, help stabilisation, continuous improvement and optimisation and also handover potential operational work to support team, coordinate maintaining knowledge articles and delivery of weekly / quarterly executive reporting)
  • Coordinate handover to support team as soon as a website/ solution goes live (which includes also ensuring all needed documentation is handed over
  • Partner with solution engineers, architects, quality experts and delivery team to further stabilise operations, improve quality of delivery and keep the needed quality procedures updated

Experience Required:

  • Solid experience of supporting and managing website delivery projects as well digital marketing processes
  • Experience leading operation teams, managed Service Providers including off-shore teams,
  • General understanding of website technologies and development, networking & security (e.g. DNS, SSL)
