Job Description

Technical and Team Lead - Agile & Javascript

We are looking for an architecture and data orientated Engineer who can simultaneously lead small engineering teams whilst owning the technical roadmap for their specific areas.

Experience Required:

  • Lead small engineering teams (total 3-6 engineers) working in cross functional groups
  • Experience of architecting enterprise solutions, microservices or data services
  • A high level of modern JavaScript experience
  • Experience with multiple toolchains (NextJs, Gatsby, etc)
  • Experience with multiple component libraries (Material, Bootstrap, Chakra, etc.
  • GIT, CSS, SASS, HTML are expected
  • At least two of the following: JSON, REST, GraphQL
  • At least two of the following: SQL (MySQL, Postgres, Redshift), NoSQL (MongoDB), Key-Value (Redis)
  • Experience using cloud technologies, specifically AWS
  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead small engineering teams (total 3-6 engineers) working in cross functional group
    • Work closely with your product management counterpart to deliver leading class software solutions
    • Contributing to the strategic thinking and architecture of engineering solutions
    • Work with multiple applications, both internal and user facing
    • Understanding client requirements and how they translate to application features
    • Develop rapid prototypes according to specification
    • Write high quality source code and complete applications within deadlines
    • Conduct functional and non-functional testing
    • Troubleshoot and debug applications
    • Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
