Job Description

SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Ok, I admit it - being a Database Administrator can be a really tough job.

DBA really stands for Default Blame Acceptor. It can also stand for Do 'Bout Anything. As a DBA you really need to know a little bit about how a lot of things work together.

But you?

You love being a DBA.

You thrive under the long hours, the pressure of being available 24/7, the occasional loss of sleep because of problems with the system, the ownership of the database and therefore the one to blame when things go wrong because you love being the protector.

Your principal goal is to protect the business by protecting the data.

Our client? They need a protector to join their team to effectively design, implement and maintain their database.

Based in Suffolk, they are an insurance business with an international reach and offer a range of benefits in addition to basic salary.
