Senior Product Manager - Digital Products

The role can be carried out remotely from the UK - with occasional meetings in either London, Cambridge or Oxford offices

You will be responsible for defining the overall product and market strategy of your portfolio. Part of your day to day will be identifying marketing opportunities in both new and existing markets and developing and managing market winning digital platforms, products or services to meet our customers needs. Your focus will be researching and developing proposals; identifying and prioritizing features that will yield significant, demonstratable benefits; defining product roadmaps and delivering products to market which deliver benefits to both the business and our customers. You'll work closely with technology colleagues and internal and external stakeholders alike, to ensure the market-focused product roadmap is delivered within budget and on time.

Experience required:

  • Demonstrated extensive history of product management experience with accountability for commercially successful products
  • Demonstrable history of developing product strategies and managing the delivery of commercially successful products
  • Demonstrated history of building alignment between product, technology and subject matter experts within an organization, as well as a demonstrated capacity for effectively interacting with external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated history of providing product leadership and direction to agile delivery teams
  • Highly commercial and customer/user centric-able to spot opportunities and capitalize on them-with a strong financial and analytical acumen
  • Passion, creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking in your work
  • Strong organisational and planning skills; proven ability to manage and monitor multiple work-steams in parallel


  • Defining and delivering on the vision and strategy for your product portfolio
  • Developing and applying a deep understanding of the market; gathering market and customer insights through customer and sales feedback channels and ongoing competitive analysis
  • Identifying and analysing commercially viable opportunities, building and presenting robust, credible business cases for approval, by ensuring propositions are well researched and validated
  • Defining and delivering a roadmap for assigned portfolio in a manner that balances internal and external stakeholder needs, competing opportunities, and business priorities in order to maximize value to the business
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to identify and validate opportunities
  • Working with Product & Technology to deliver the work associated with Agile product development by meeting the needs of delivery teams including defining initiatives, epics and prioritization of deliverables
