Job Description

Security Analyst - (Incident Management/Pen Testing)

Unix/Penetration/Firewalls/Incidents/Virtualisation/Cloud

Do you work in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) and bored of shift work? Or perhaps you are a pure bred Penetration Tester with a Certified Ethical Hacker qualification looking for a broader role?

E-Resourcing has a fantastic opportunity to join a small internal security team based in South Oxfordshire, serving a global business. Like any global business, they need to constantly defend their systems. This role covers active investigation of incidents, some basic penetration testing, creation of security baselines and delivering security awareness. This is a Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm role, giving the candidate an excellent opportunity to improve their work/life balance.

Thus this role needs someone with a thorough understanding of what an attack looks like and the ability to work with other teams to triage and remediate. You will be comfortable working across application, server and network technologies to actively defend their systems.

You should have excellent, up to date knowledge of security, and be well read on current security news and trends.

This is an office based permanent role with a salary on offer up to £55,000pa, however there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.

My client is unable to sponsor applicants so please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK.

If you have the required experience and you would like to find out more, please contact Katie Parker in confidence on 01372 748 444 / katie.parker@e-resourcing.co.uk
