PMO Analyst - Financial Reporting - Jira / Excel

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT PMO with a Financial Reporting focus to join a global organisation in East Surrey.
With fantastic opportunity for progression this autonomous role will be responsible for financial analysis and reporting across IT projects in the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Spain.

The role will also involve:

  • Budget planning, tracking and cross charging of services to affiliates and business areas.
  • Operating from the Redhill office, with some occasional European travel, the jobholder will be responsible for effectively managing, monitoring and tracking the IT budget and spend across the projects and investments made to ensure accurate reporting and cross-charging to IT management, affiliates and the Finance team.
  • Applicants must have relevant Finance experience, an eye for detail, good Excel skills and will be expected to maintain an accurate and up to date financial position for the department.
  • Implement and maintain tools, systems and processes as needed to track and manage internal effort and spend, external spend against projects and ensure we have robust processes to support accurate data and reporting across European IT.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for budget position.
  • Perform required reconciliations and maintain comprehensive and up to date paperwork
  • Be one of the key points of contact for external auditors and for Corporate Finance team based
  • Recording, monitoring and reporting for all PMO aspects
  • Manage the resource & capacity planning for projects and programmes
  • Update and maintain RAID logs
  • Facilitate retrospectives and lessons learned
  • Ensure project and program documentation reviews are aligned to the Gate Reviews

Skills & Experience required:

  • Relevant experience in a financial accounting and reporting role.
  • Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills. Highly autonomous, self-learning and reliable
  • Organised with good presentation skills and the ability to organize and manage a schedule for reporting and financial activities
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel incl. complex formulas & Jira).
  • Ownership, collaborative and strong relationship management skills.
  • An eye for detail and understanding of data
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
