My client is seeking a talented developer to join their team. Their product is an industry-leading platform for which we are adding new functionality and features. You will be expected to support both the existing software and work on strategic improvements. This will also include sophisticated design and code generation products.
Your main responsibilities in this role will be:
Design, develop and deliver high quality code within estimated timeframes
Implement required code changes and new features using coding best practices
Ensure test coverage is enough to meet both business and team lead requirements
Ensure Jira is kept up-to-date in terms of time tracking and ensure tickets are up to date
Observe best practices in code managements
Required technical skills:
Understanding of Web Services, HTTP and XML
Demonstrate good knowledge of OO architecture and design patterns
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong coding and debugging skills
Self-motivator with a willingness to learn new skills
Superb attention to detail and accuracy
Agile and test driven development methodologies
UI / UX design skills
SVN or other source control product
Knowledge in pharmaceutical industry
Salary & Other Information
The successful candidate will ideally hold a 1st Class or 2:1 degree level or equivalent in a computing or mathematical subject.
Candidates are typically graduates with a relevant degree and a track record of working on their own personal projects.
The work location is South West London and successful candidates are expected to work from the office.
