Java Developer (Spring/Hibernate/SQL)
You love being a problem solver. It's an addiction.
It's so addictive, if there are none available to solve, you will even create problems (don't worry, your secret's safe with us!).
Our client, a financially strong and innovative leader in software with award-winning solutions, is looking to recruit bright Java Developers at all levels who thrive on solving complex engineering problems, with a varied mix of frameworks and libraries.
Their solutions are IoT and telematics-enabled, available in modules or full suite, with open architecture for integration, available across multiple territories and are implemented in short timescales delivering rapid ROI and benefit realisation.
They will give you as much responsibility as you can manage and will provide you with the technology and tools to succeed and reach your goals, as they continuously innovate and invest in their technology landscape.
Technology is at the heart of their business. You will be working with Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, GWT, Camel/Fuse ESB, hosted on RedHat OpenShift using Kubernetes and Docker. They also fully exploit the Atlassian stack including JIRA, Bamboo, Stash, and Confluence.
If you are a team player, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, roll your sleeves up, willing to learn and solve problems, we want to hear from you.
Our client is rapidly expanding and know they have some great tech and a complex app for the serious developer who will learn and develop significantly with them, but they are looking for people at all levels who will contribute to their development as well.
In return, they offer Private Medical Insurance (Vitality), Contributory Pension, Critical Illness and Death in Service, 25 days holiday, flexible working and a share option scheme. They have a great team environment with a healthy mix of junior and senior staff, a challenging environment that recognises contribution and rewards responsibility and encourages a team ethos with a growing social element.
