Job Description

DevOps Engineer - AWS, Linux, Troposphere

An experienced DevOps Engineer is required to lead on DevOps approach and development for a global organisation.

Key goal: Automation of the software build, deployment and testing processes to provide an efficient CD (continuous delivery) platform to support IOPP's software development teams (including "containerisation" of product components)

  • Hands-on contribution to implementing the automation solution; leading through example
  • Advise on automation processes, tools and best working practices
  • Mentor and develop systems engineering staff so they can continue to grow and succeed

Hosting expertise in AWS

  • Includes monitoring tools, configuration management, availability, data protection, security, service management
  • Identify & implement cost/performance optimizations
  • Identify opportunities for automation and work with the hosting teams to implement
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
