Role: Database Administrator (DBA, SQL)

Location: London

Salary range: £45,0000-£50,000

My client, a superb, dynamic organisation, are currently looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) with strong SQL experience to come in and work with the on a permanent basis. Working primarily in a production-based environment, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and usability of business critical business systems:

Database Administrator / DBA / SQL / UNIX / PL/SQL / T-SQL / Windows Server / Oracle


  • Installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of physical databases
  • Translate object and data models into appropriate database schemas
  • Investigating problems, collecting performance statistics and creating reports

Required experience:

  • Extensive production DBA experience within SQL environments
  • Performance monitoring and database optimisation tools and techniques
  • Back-up and recovery tools and techniques
  • Some development DBA experience
  • SQL 2005, 2008, 2012
  • SQL Developer, Management Studio and Dynamic Management Views
  • PL/SQL and T-SQL
  • Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
