Compliance and Policy Analyst- Utilities, Electricity, Reporting, Audit

My client are a Utilities Regulator who are currently looking for a Compliance and Policy Analyst to work in a rapidly growing team. You will have ideally worked within the Utilities space and have some knowledge of policy and regulations around pricing. You will be responsible for analysing data sets, compiling reports and interacting with colleagues across the company and external Parties. In this role the client is willing to train the right candidate across SQL Server and Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse data in line with agreed processes, timescales and quality standards
  • Document your findings and present them to the relevant decision making body in a way that enables them to reach decisions easily
  • Work with the members of the team on the delivery of ad hoc audits which will involve but not be limited to analysis of supporting data pre-visit, site visits, and analysis of audit findings
  • Ability to write technical reports and to present complex information and data in a clear, concise and engaging manner
  • Proficient in delivering presentations in a formal environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Be able to engage with and proactively build positive relationships with customers, both internally and externally
  • Pro-active and willing to contribute to projects and team activities
