Business Change Manager - software/product development

The role can be done remotely and part time/flexible working will be considered

Business change role to lead the people side of change associated with product deliverables. The purpose of the role is to enable people-side of change through analysis, planning, presenting and successfully managing the impacts of our new software features/capabilities and associated processes. The role's main focus is on improving the utilisation of the released features and in realising business benefits sought, however a significant part of the work will also be in playing a contributor role to the community of business change network across the company

Experience Required:

  • Proven, hands-on experience in leading change for large-scale technology-led initiatives
  • Ability to manage change for several concurrent initiatives
  • Experience collaborating across technology and product disciplines, time zones, and reporting structures
  • Shown ability to build positive relationships with partners at all levels and with a range of backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of SDL, agile software development principles & practices, change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Prosci change management certification
  • Information modelling skills along with outstanding presentation skills
  • A strong delivery focus

The Role:

  • Closely partner with product management, architecture, engineering, and Business analyst teams to clearly articulate the change and its associated impact to various internal and external partners
  • Working closely with key partners across Product & Technology and wider business to map stakeholders, assess change impact and create targeted partner engagement plans, including interventions to handle resistance
  • Develop customer and colleague readiness plans and undertake assessments to establish whether impacted teams are prepared to adopt the new ways of working
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to have visibility of change impact across the value-stream and its associated customer groups
  • Identify and mitigate any risks and/or associated issues with the change management effort, reporting on these against change management plans
  • Create meaningful work for the five change management levers: Communications plan, sponsor roadmap, mentoring plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Remain current on change management techniques, practices, and methodologies
