Mission
Plan and ensure the execution of one or more IT projects within set timelines and budget.
Hold accountability for the IT infrastructure projects until their closure.



LIST of activities
Define and manage elements such as the scope, planning, budget, risks, resources, dependencies and quality in close collaboration with the internal clients and both internal and external suppliers.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the solution by integrating both IT and business resources, until successful project transition to production.
Prepare RFPs and managed fixed price contract execution as committed.
Be the trusted companion of the sponsors and steering committees and provide them with regular and clear project status, actively preparing management decisions requested.
Bring guidance and coaching to the project IT resources (functional analysts, technical analysts, developers, testers, System Engineers, DBA, …) and report on their performance and evolution towards the relevant resource managers.
Promote the implementation and usage of Project Management best practices. In general be force for improvement proposals and possible implementation.

Background

Knowledge

The ideal candidate has a university degree in exact sciences (preferably IT) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
Deep knowledge of infrastructure components and data centers.
Up-to-date with new technologies and market trends.
Master English and are at least conversational in Dutch or French;
Broad experience in working with project management tooling (ex MS Project);

EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years of relevant experience as an IT Infrastructure project manager, in an IT infrastructure/data center area. Track of successful project implementations of large infrastructure (eg datacenters move).
Have successfully ended large (>3.5 M €) and/or complex project implementations, including fixed price projects and/or 3rd party sub contractors.
Experience in working in a matrix or Agile/DevOps organizational structure
