SAP Security and Authorisations Consultant - Permanent - £50,000 plus excellent benefits

The SAP Security and Authorisations Consultant will work in the SAP Security and Authorisations function with the SAP CoE, which is based in Aberdeen.
The purpose of the role is to own and maintain the SAP Security and Authorisation processes, related policies, procedures and governance framework and to manage user authorisations in SAP ensuring that the correct procedures are followed and access rights are agreed with the relevant business functions before changes are made to the system and to prevent Segregation of Duty issues where possible.
An important aspect of this role is to own, maintain and ensure adherence to the SAP authorisations framework and adhere to the tiered authorisations concept used by the company.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

*Own and Maintain the SAP Security and Authorisation process, related policies, procedures and governance framework.
*Utilise the Authorisations Tiered concept introduced by our client, which is intended to simplify the administration of roles in SAP
*Perform user and authorisation administration in accordance with agreed standards and within the service levels agreed with the business functions
*Perform checks to ensure that there are no segregation of duties issues as a result of providing users with access
*Work within the SAP CoE cross-functional, technical and basis teams
*Education of end users on Security and Authorisations related topics.
*User inactivity reporting and management
*Licence reporting, audit and management
*Create and maintain user roles and authorisations based on business requirements
*Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights
*System changes including: Analysis, Development, Design, Configuration, Communications and the appropriate supporting documentation.
*Work within change management guidelines ensuring all transports moved into production maintain system integrity
*Create and maintain detailed security documentation
*Develop and drive the implementation of security best practices and standards
*Interaction with technical resources to define technical requirements.

Key Skills/Attributes:

*Relevant SAP certification/qualifications
*Excellent understanding of security service delivery to ITIL standards.
*Must have strong hands-on experience in role and user management
*Must have demonstrable experience in Role and Authorisation design and implementation
*Demonstrable experience in function relevant documentation in terms of policies, procedures and other relevant governance documentation
*Experience working with Central User Administration (CUA) an advantage
*Competent in Windows, MS Office, Outlook, IT support systems
*Understanding of GRC, Risk Management and Segregation of Duties concepts are an advantage.
*Proven ability to provide an appropriate level of skills and knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and deployment of SAP application and business processes.
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners
*Excellent communications skills both written as well as verbal
*Track record in ensuring timely and high quality solutions.
*Ability to work autonomously with strong SAP consulting skills.
*SAP application experience across the following modules preferred, but not all essential: MM, FICO, PM, HR, BW.
*Experience of working with authorisation based analysis tools
*Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience
