SAP Applications Manager - End User - Oxfordshire - Salary up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits.

SAP Manager required for our end user client. The SAP Manager will help co-ordinate and manage a portfolio of projects to deliver a full range of SAP modules and back office applications, creating a roadmap for the future of a successful SAP implementation/migration from the current office functions to an integrated SAP suite.

Reporting to the Director of Business Solutions, the key Accountabilities:
*Within identified areas, collect & analyse requirements on the following to allow a successful SAP Migration:
oBusiness processes and parameters
oAssist in data transfer mapping
oDetermining reporting requirements
*Suggest and select solutions to customer based on best business practices so that customer gets business benefits by following these SAP processes.
*Assist in the development of business process descriptions
*Provide guidance on end-user documentation.
*Provide guidance on test plan and how to test SAP functionality for the required business processes and ensure that all scenarios are covered.
*Conduct unit tests based on customer defined scenarios
*Lead progress towards business strategies through delivery of agreed projects and programmes, working with business stakeholders to manage delivery of the optimum mix of projects and programmes taking into account financial and resource constraints and dependencies
*Translating the organisational business strategy into a portfolio of projects, benefits and results, which are delivered by the project managers and development teams.
*Responsible for the initial scoping and shaping of projects to enable early decisions on viability and prioritisation
*Manage Projects and/or Programmes, manage, role-model, coach and mentor Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure that standards are followed and project progress is clearly visible to the stakeholders
*Coordinate with company Architecture staff and other wider group SAP Consultants for Integration requirements
*Provide functional specifications to technical team for any customized developments.
*Analyse the current business processes and scenarios of the business and recommend/develop solutions to meet the business need
*They will be responsible primarily for helping deliver a successful implementation of SAP, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
* Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures
*Develop and evaluate plans and criteria to be carried out by others; provides direction and leadership
To be successful candidate will have:
*Extensive SAP knowledge and experience
*Will have experience of end to end experience of the SAP implementation lifecycle and process with proven experience interacting directly with end users
*The ability to multi-task and adapt to varying workloads and be able to communicate at all levels
*Good mentoring skills, she/he will be required to provide support across the team
*Experience of managing multiple parties including business analysts, technical support staff and third party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutions
*Have had experience of managing budgets as this role will have full budgetary control and solid understanding of resource allocation procedures.
