Product Analyst
Analytics / Research / Insight / Google Analytics

Our client a world leading Media company in digital and print products is looking for an experienced Analytics professional with a proven ability to apply analysis to real world decision making. The right candidate will understand and have experience of audience and product Analytics. Provide qualitative research to complement analytics to provide deeper insights. You will understand the benefits of research and Analytics to deliver actionable insights into the business and its partners.


  • Report on key metrics, interpreting and analysing trends and providing insights based on available analytical data
  • Manage reporting dashboards across multiple business streams
  • Combine web analytics, customer data, market data and more to develop key customer insights
  • Analyse online user behaviour, conversion data and the customer journeys
  • Ensure the integrity of web analytics data and other integrated sources of data
  • Work with BI and technology teams on tagging requirements of analytical packages and how data can be filtered into visualisation tools

Required skills:

  • Degree level educated in a numerical discipline, e.g. Mathematics, Business IT, Statistics, Computer Science
  • Proven experience in the field of Digital Analytics
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools, ideally Google Analytics
  • Strong Google Sheet / MS Excel knowledge
  • Analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience of troubleshooting analytics implementation issues
  • Some knowledge of tagging solutions desirable (Tealium, Google Tag Manager, etc)
  • Some experience using BI reporting tools desirable (Tableau, Data Studio, etc)
  • Experience of market research techniques
