C# and ASP.NET / Strong Transact SQL / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX

Overview

This role is for a dynamic and driven junior C#, Web developer to bring their knowledge, ideas and drive to help us expand and build our portfolio of products.

Strong support and guidance will be given at all stages during this role. Helping the junior developer to expand and improve their skill sets and experience allowing them to progress to a senior role in the future.



Responsibilities:

Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C#, Web code.





Required Skills:
Full SDLC experience required to design, code, debug, test, document, and maintain customer facing web applications and sites.
At least 1 years C# and ASP.NET experience with a keen interest in programming best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be autonomous and proactive in solving problems.
Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment, and be a highly-organized individual with the ability to multi-task and have a high attention to detail.
A proven delivery record and with a delivery focus.
Strong analytic skills, strategic vision, and logical approach to problem solving.
Strong Transact SQL skills and experience of programming complex Stored Procedures.
Professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong knowledge of design patterns and Object Orientated Design.
Strong knowledge of refactoring, including improving the design of existing code.
Strong knowledge of building and maintaining data-driven web applications.
Knowledge of performing test driven development.
Solid appreciation of good UI practices.
Experience of web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.
Experience working with Internet Information Services involving permissions, creating/maintaining web sites and virtual directories.
Experience working on Scrum teams in sprints.
Understands the Agile software development lifecycle (iterative and incremental).
Experience in large, complex system implementation projects
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff
Either Microsoft certified or the desire to get certified.
Clear and concise documentation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
