HL7 Interface Developer / Rhapsody Integration Engine / SQL


HL7 Interface Developer (Contractor) Immediate start London - Waterloo
My client, a leading tech company operating in the Healthcare sector are looking for someone to help us build up their HL7 interfaces. Your role will be to integrate my client with their clients' PAS, EPR, Radiology and other systems. The interfaces will be bi-directional and use ADT and SIU messages.

You will need strong experience of building HL7 interfaces particularly using Orion's Rhapsody integration engine. You should have overseen several complex interface projects and be comfortable designing a project plan and estimating effort required. You should know how to structure components in a project to allow reuse for future integrations. You should be passionate about automated testing and deployment.
Responsibilities
Working with their clients to understand their technical requirements
Plan the project, estimate timescales and deliver working software in increments
Ensure the interfaces are tested, working as expected and accepted by clients
Help plan their software and infrastructure architecture

Skills and requirements
Developing with an HL7 integration engine (3+ years)
Developing with Rhapsody integration engine (1+ years)
SQL (solid working knowledge, OK not to be DBA level)
DevOps automated testing, acceptance tests and fast frequent deployments
Familiarity with network architectures, N3 and security best practices
