Reporting to: Director of Digital and Creative Services

My client, A leading communications agency are looking to expand their development team with an experienced Frontend Developer with working knowledge of using AngularJS or React.
You will also be able to use HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript and Twitter Bootstrap.

On a day-to-day basis you will be working closely with the other developers, as well as other departments, in an AGILE environment. You will be working on a number of important core projects for the agency and gaining valuable knowledge on how the Pharma industry operates.

This is a rare opportunity to work with experienced developers and be part of a rapidly expanding team that deals with big pharmaceutical companies on a daily basis.

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Code within Twitter Bootstrap and AngularJS / React environment
Understanding of CSS pre-processing, such as SASS or LESS
Understanding of LAMP environment
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS / React
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Familiar with task managers like Grunt or Gulp
Familiarity with Photoshop
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
Knowledge of other languages and development technologies would be beneficial
Ability to understand when to escalate issues or scheduling concerns
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Hardworking adaptable and can work confidently within a group

Main purpose of job:
Developing innovative web applications and websites
Delivering upon a brief within the allocated timeframe
Supporting the Lead Frontend Developer to deliver projects and assignments
Possess an advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI
Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets

Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and templates for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Aim to optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
